Already deployed PUs:How to rediscover automatically after a GSA shutdown ?

Hello dear GigaSpaces XAP Community !

I just noticed the following on my local dev machine: I am shutting down the GSA and restarting it again; there are already deployed PUs - in my case residing in the default dir <gigaspacesroot>\work\processing-units; but they are NOT listed in the 'Deployed Processing Unit' tab of the GigaSpaces Management Center UI ...

How can I make a restarted GSA automatically discover and display already deployed PUs ?

TIA for all Your replies !

Cheers and Tschüss

Once you shut down a GSA that manage a GSM the info about the deployed PUs via this GSM is gone ( I assume you don’t have a secondary GSM this one will take over). The PUs files are located under the <GigaSpacesRoot>\deploy folder within the relevant folder of the GSM machine created at the deploy time. You will need to redeploy the original war/jar file or deploy the existing folder using the same deploy command you used but have the PU Name (folder name) as the parameter instead of the war/jar file name.

We do plan providing auto deploy option with future versions.

If you are looking into complex application deployment tool that requires multiple dependency PU based deployment see this:
