Multiple embedded spaces?

Is it possible to deploy multiple embeded spaces with different "topologies"

So far I have deployed a partitioned space and all seems to work well. But now I also have a "table" that I like to deploy as replicated. It's size footprint is allot smaller and doesn't need to be partitioned, but still used by the PU locally.

Use local view. It is simpler and have faster data access than embedded space.

So I deploy my tables on the partitioned embedded space as is and use a local view of the one table i want on the client right?

Basically what i want to do... Is i have a servlet that needs to do a "login" check on user table and then execute a distributed task...

I'm using the web PU, so the servlet is running in a PU with embedded space. So i can use the local view in the servlet?

Have a second proxy with your PU that is using a local view and use it for your read operations for this space class.
