Change in gs.xml handling?

Hello,

I have gone back to some code that I used with GS 6.x and it seems to behave differently under 7.01. I am running a datagrid (not a PU) and I have a client that does POJO reads, writes and takes against the datagrid space. The POJO classes have classname.gs.xml files in the client's bin directory (where the POJO class files are read from), but GS does not seem to be reading them. I have also put them in $GS_HOME/config/mapping and in a config/mapping directory off of a directory that is in the client app's classpath for good measure, but still they don't seem to found by GS.

When I increased the logging level for POJOs to ALL I got:

2009-11-14 10:13:19,691 WARNING [com.gigaspaces.pojo] - Failed to parse *.gs.xml files from folder '/config/mapping' for more information set logger 'com.gigaspaces.pojo' level to FINE.

on the console and in the log.

When I increased it to FINE I got the same message.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks.

Dan,
If the gs.xml files are not read when placed where the class files are located there is a problem (I doubt it).
Please double check this - if you can't make it work - please report via http://www.gigaspaces.com/supportcenter

Hi Shay,

Thanks for the response.

My mistake. The class' package name had changed but I had not reflected the change in the gs.xml file.
