Can I supstutue jsp-api library?

I need to deploy 2 applications into one XAP cluster and I have depndency clash

I have deployed application A it went smooth Then I have recieved application B and dependes on class that is compiled against different javax.el.ELREsolver then the one provided withinh lib/platform/jetty/jsp-api-2.1

I have decided to delete lib/platform/jetty/jsp-api-2.1 use jsp-api provided with application B as I library within APP_B/WEB-INF/LIB application B works

then I put jsp-api-2.1 within APP_A/WEB-INF/LIB But during deployment i get nasty NoClassFoundException missing class is javax.servlet.jsp.JspFactory

which I can see in the APP_A/WEB-INF/LIB/jsp-api-2.1

I think that Class loader loading jetty have no access to libs inside PUs? But how come the application B works?

Can you provide the exception stack trace?
I don't understand why you get the original problem. Have you tried to place the relevant jar/class at the bootclasspath?
