How to know current running space is primary or backup?

I read the online documentation of the GigaSpaces. I can't find any API that is able to let me know whether the current running space is primary or secondary mode.

The only thing mentioned in the documentation is to implement the SpaceAfterPrimaryListener. How does the application suppose to know the space is in primary or backup mode when it is just deployed into the gsc?

Best Regards, Guang Sheng

This should help IRemoteJSpaceAdmin admin = (IRemoteJSpaceAdmin) ((IDirectSpaceProxy) space) .getRemoteJSpace(); LRMIRemoteSpaceImpl p = (LRMIRemoteSpaceImpl)admin; System.out.println(p.getSpaceMode());

Thanks Venkat
