Does Gigaspaces support reference to another space class with a space class

For example:

Instead of {code} class Friend { long characterId; } {code} You have {code} class Friend { Character character; } {code}

Both Friend and Character are space class.

The referenced Object will be treated like any other Object. It will be
serialized and will not have its own space identity. This means you will
not be able to fetch it without its parent object or update it without
reading first its parent object.
If you would like to have the Character as a separate space object you
should write it separately and have its ID as part of the parent Friend
object to have these 2 associated.
