Is it possible to set a delay in a notify container?

I have a notify container with a Sql template. I'm using the follow configuration.

@NotifyType(write = true, update = true) @NotifyBatch(size = 100, time = 20000, passArrayAsIs = true)

The thing is that I need to set a delay before the listener is invoked for some seconds. I prefer not create a delay inside the listener because I'm afraid about performance issues.

The other option I considered was to create a dynamic template adding the condition for the queried object "lastUpdateDate > CurrentDate + DELAY", but according to the documentation, this kind of template is not compatible with Notify containers.

Could somebody give me some suggestion?

Thanks

Notify listener is asynchronous by nature. If you place a sleep at the listener there shouldn't be any performance problems. Make sure you increase the LRMI and notification thread pool and relevant queues.
