NoSuchMethodError for SessionFactory.openSession for Gigaspaces 10

Hi, I'm upgrading to Gigaspaces 10 from Gigaspaces 9.7. My application uses Hibernate 3. I updated the license file to use version 10 of Gigaspaces, and the 2 jar files gs-openspaces.jar and gs-runtime.jar. I left the spring jar files at version 3 even though Gigaspaces 10 uses spring 4. When I run the application to create a space, I get this error:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.hibernate.SessionFactory.openSession()Lorg/hibernate/Session

Has anyone seen this error before when trying to upgrade to Gigaspaces 10, but trying to stay on Hibernate 3? If so, do you know how to resolve the issue?

Thanks

It might be easier to upgrade your application to use Hibernate 4 and Spring 4. That being said, there are a few posts on stack overflow about this error that point to a version mismatch between Spring and Hibernate. Check if there are any Hibernate 4 or Spring 4 jars used by your application. Also, have you made changes on the XAP server to run with Hibernate 3 and Spring 3 as well?

Thanks
