How do you create a space that spans multiple machines?

I can't find an example of creating a space that spans multiple machines? How do I specify which machines the space will be deployed on? Is it just a matter of running gs-agent on all the machines that I want to use? Can I have multiple, separate clusters on the same network.

Right now I'm using the open source version, and the script doesn't let you specify where to deploy the space--it's always on the local machine.

Thank you.

Hi, Please have a look at:https://docs.gigaspaces.com/xap/12.1/dev-java/deploying-and-running-overview.html see the standalone mode, with the opensource version you don't start service grid and do deployment with GSM but rather start manually the spaces. With service grid you can deploy your pu by starting the gs-agent with proper number of containers and doing deployment using ui/rest/admin. see more at:https://docs.gigaspaces.com/xap/12.1/admin/xap-manager-rest.html ,https://docs.gigaspaces.com/xap/12.1/admin/deploy-rest.html

Regards, Ester.
