Mirror service with a different name

I have the following line in the pu.xml to have the space mirrored:

<os-core:space id="mySpace" url="${mySpaceUrl}" mirror="true" />

But now we need two mirror services that connect to two different databases. How can I specify the name of the mirror service in the line above?

Thanks,

Simon

My comment was talking about having 2 different clusters - for each u may have its own mirror. In this case , one of them should have different name for the mirror space other than the default.

There is no support yet for multiple mirror per cluster. I'm not sure u need such as the mirror is not ur bottleneck since it is de-coupled from your application activity.

Thanks guys.

I'm trying to have different mirror services per cluster. Is there any way to specify the name of the mirror service other than in the override file?

Thanks,

Simon

With 6.5 you can use the following property to set the Mirror URL: cluster-config.mirror-service.url i.e.: cluster-config.mirror-service.url=jini://*/mymirror-service_container/mymirror-service

The Mirror service should be started using: "/./mymirror-service"

The mirror space url can be modified using the cluster config. Lookfor the mirror cluster settings.

Hi Simon,

If you're looking to store information of a single cluster to more than one database, you should change the EDS implementation at the mirror to support this capability.

The product does not support connecting a single cluster to more than one mirror.

Cheers, Guy
