m11, our last pre-rc release is out.

We have a nice maven integration and openspaces plugin as part of it. You can download it from: http://www.gigaspaces.com/wiki/displa...

Take a look at the new tools/maven directory for it. The steps are:

  1. run the installmavenrep script which will install XAP into your maven repository
  2. You can than experiment with the various openspace plugin integrations.
    • mvn os:create - creates a multi-module project, similar to the data example
    • mvn compile os:run - runs the entire application
    • mvn os:package - builds the necessary jars ready to be deployed on the service grid
    • mvn os:deploy/undeploy - deploys and undeploys the project into the service grid

Obviously you can use the famour mvn eclipse:eclipse to create the necessary eclipse support

We're looking for feedback, so please feel free to post any.

Cheers, Guy

hi, i'm having a problem installing the installmavenrep.bat i get this error: JAVA_HOME environment variable is set to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_05 in "< GigaSpaces Root>\bin\setenv.bat" Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_05\bin\java" -cp C:\GigaSpaces\bin\..\lib\JSpaces.jar com.g igaspaces.util.OutputJVMVendorName" was unexpected at this time.

then trying using the maven in command line with your plugin and it didn't recognize it.

are you familier with this installation problem? Avi.

Is this just for Maven 2.* or does this also work against maven 1.*?
