Connecting to a "Fault Tolerant Partitioned Cache"

It seems that when you deploy a "Fault Tolerant Partitioned Cache" using the gs-ui (Service Grid User Interface) it is necessary for applications to make an adjustment to their CLASSPATH in order to connect to the created spaces:

once you add

%JSHOMEDIR%\ServiceGrid\lib\gs-lib.jar

to the CLASSPATH, connecting to the spaces works just fine.

HTH

Owen. ps exception when this is not set looks like this when you attempt to write:

java.rmi.RemoteException: Failed to execute write operation on clustered proxy. Cluster-Schema: partitioned-sync2backup, load-balancing policy: hash-based, Fail-over enabled. Reason: No available member found.

Members availability status [group: LB_FO_Backup]

Or if you are registering for Notifications the Exception looks like:

I'm experiencing the same problem with GS 6.0EE build 1809.

I deployed a PU on a Service grid (1 GSM, 2 GSC), trying to call a service's method from a client application I obtain:

Exception in thread "main" org.openspaces.core.RemoteDataAccessException: Failed to execute write operation on clustered proxy. Cluster-Schema: partitioned, load-balancing policy: hash-based, Fail-over enabled. Reason: No available member found.

Members availability status [group: partitioned_hashbased_group]

space_container1:space : jini:///space_container1/space?groups=gigaspaces-6.0EE&ignoreValidation=true&cluster_schema=partitioned&total_members=2&id=1 - Not Available space_container2:space : jini:///space_container2/space?groups=gigaspaces-6.0EE&ignoreValidation=true&cluster_schema=partitioned&total_members=2&id=1 - Not Available ; nested exception is java.rmi.RemoteException: Failed to execute write operation on clustered proxy. Cluster-Schema: partitioned, load-balancing policy: hash-based, Fail-over enabled. Reason: No available member found. Members availability status [group: partitioned_hashbased_group]

The suggested solution doesn't work for me. Any idea?

Thanks

Lucio.
