Serialization in C++ entries

In order to be written into the space, C++ objects must be converted into ExternalEntry objects. The SpaceWriter C++ example available in the GigaSpaces EE5.0 distribution illustrates a simple case when C++ object only contains native type attributes which can be mapped to the corresponding Java types. However if your class contains custom type attributes, they can be converted into byte arrays. There are some existing software products that perform C++ serialization, such as:
