How to identify primary space instance with Admin API

Hi,

how could I identify a primary space instance with Admin API when a primary-backup topology is used?

Using service discovery, I am able to find all PU instances and spaces within them. Now how could I determine if a particular space is a primary or a backup? On which events should I listen to be notified when a backup space becomes a primary (for example, because the old primary is restarted)?

Added: I am using the Java API, if this plays any role.
