What is causing this warning?

Can you please provide more details? Are you running on linux? Windows? What's the JVM settings? What the application is doing? Batch write? Batch read?

It is running on RHEL. It is just a simple proxy writing to a remote space with

gs.write(spaceEntry, WriteModifiers.WRITE_ONLY);

I believe we have the default Java & GigaSpace JVM settings with Oracle JDK 1.7
