Multicast based notifications

I have trouble to get multicast based notifications to work. For troubleshooting i created a small test class to see if I could get one message sent over multicast. But I just can't get it to work.

The code I'm refering to below is attached, and can also be seen in this gist:

The test creates an in memory partitioned space with two partitions and no backup. I have enabled a MulticastNotifyWorker for the space. It then writes a message to the space and verifies that the listener has received the message. The first test passes ("unicastBasedNotificationTest"), which of course uses unicast as communication protocol. The second test,"multicastBasedNotificationTest", fails. It does not receive any messages and therefore times out.

I have checked that multicast works on my local machine (by using the gs admin multicastTest tool). Any suggestions why the multicast based test fails? I run the test against the 8.0.1 version of gigaspaces.

There was a small bug in the MulticastBasedNotificationTest (the messageWithRoutingId factory method did not use the routingId argument). The bug did not affect the outcome of the test though. I have attached a corrected version of the test, and updated the gist. The question remains the same... h4. Attachments
