Mirroring to a HBase DB

Hi,

I have a HBase installation running on top of a Hadoop file system and I was wondering what is the best approach to mirror the content of a space into it. I have checked the wiki and I saw that there is a way of using some Hibernate integration to achieve the mirroring, but since HBase is a NoSql kind of DB I guess that it doesn't work in this case.

Hi,

According to Hibernate site: http://hibernate.org/ogm/roadmap/ Hibernate 4.2 will Exploration of HBase (Implement the HBase datastore and its query support). BUT XAP 10.1.0 support hibernate 4.1.9, so it is not really helping you. What you should do is implement your own Custom Mirror Data Source. Please read more about it here: http://docs.gigaspaces.com/xap97/asyn...

Yuval

Thanks, I'll use the Custom Mirror Data Source option then.
