Thanks John, I opened a case.

Guys, Does XAP 10.1 work with spring security 4? We are already using spring 4 but spring-security was 3.1.x and when we tried to migrate we got this error:

Caused by: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'org.springframework.security.web.access.intercept.FilterSecurityInterceptor#0': Cannot create inner bean '(inner bean)#5437ba05' of type [org.springframework.security.web.access.intercept.DefaultFilterInvocationSecurityMetadataSource] while setting bean property 'securityMetadataSource'; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.UnsatisfiedDependencyException: Error creating bean with name '(inner bean)#5437ba05': Unsatisfied dependency expressed through constructor argument with index 0 of type [java.util.LinkedHashMap]: Could not convert constructor argument value of type [java.util.LinkedHashMap] to required type [java.util.LinkedHashMap]: Failed to convert value of type 'java.util.LinkedHashMap' to required type 'java.util.LinkedHashMap'; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Cannot convert value of type [org.springframework.security.web.util.AntPathRequestMatcher] to required type [org.springframework.security.web.util.matcher.RequestMatcher]: PropertyEditor [org.springframework.security.web.util.matcher.RequestMatcherEditor] returned inappropriate value of type [org.springframework.security.web.util.AntPathRequestMatcher]

Was that the case? I'm having the same issue here...

Thanks John,

I've compared both schemas though, 10.1.0 vs 10.1.1, and noticed that they are identical. Was the issued somewhere else?

Thank

Hey John,

Replacing the file didn't solve the problem. Do you have any news?

2014-11-18 15:28:19 -0500 asked a question Mapping Dynamic Properties to JPA/Hibernate

Hi, I have a class that looks like:

@SpaceClass
public class A {
  String name;
  DocumentProperties dynamicProperties = new DocumentProperties()
  //other properties...

  @SpaceDynamicProperties
  public DocumentProperties getDynamicProperties() {
    return dynamicProperties;
  }

  //other methods...
}

How can I map my class to be persisted (using mirror service) into a relational database where each dynamicProperties.key would be a table A.column and dynamicProperties.value would be a table A.row. Example:

A entity1 = new A("any1");
entity1.getDynamicProperties().setProperty("my_dynamic_column", "22")

A entity2 = new A("any2");
entity2.getDynamicProperties().setProperty("my_dynamic_column", "33")

A entity3 = new A("any3");
entity3.getDynamicProperties().setProperty("my_other_dynamic_column", "99")

Would produce a table like:

TABLE A
name | my_dynamic_column | my_other_dynamic_column
any1 |       22          |        null
any2 |       33          |        null
any3 |      null         |         99

Thanks!

2014-10-20 16:33:45 -0500 commented answer Compress mode save network bandwidth?

Thank you hassidim!

2014-10-20 09:50:11 -0500 asked a question Compress mode save network bandwidth?

XAP documentation says

Compressed mode – non-primitive fields are compressed before being sent to the space at the client side. These are stored in compressed form within the space.

I have a Remote Service and a client proxy communicating with it, I send an object M (storage type COMPRESSED) and a bunch of texts with its String fields. My question is: Client side above also stands for "remote proxy" ? In other words, will I save network bandwidth on that communication?

Just asking because when I looked into those TCP packets the Data length being sent had no significant compression.

Another quesiton then: The compression above will still happen for a field java.util.List<string> right?

Thank you!

2014-05-19 16:09:04 -0500 commented answer Dynamic Properties with special characters

Yes, I had to add a non-integer before the name as well, like this t13_11_32. I got confused just because saving/fetching DynamicProperties had no such restrictions, now it's working. Thanks for answering right away.

2014-05-15 10:14:42 -0500 asked a question Dynamic Properties with special characters

Hi,

I have created a dynamic property in my space class:

@SpaceClass
public class MyClass {
  DocumentProperties samples = new DocumentProperties();
}

Along with other properties I set those as, for example

samples.setProperty("13:11:32", 30);

Then, 13:11:32 is my property name and 30 my property value. If I try to fetch/save the object everything goes well. However when I try a query like this:

String queryString = "id = 5 AND 13:11:32 = 30";
new SQLQuery<>(MyClass.class, queryString); //Will execute this query

I get the following exception:

org.openspaces.core.BadSqlQueryException: Failed to create template from SQLQuery : [id = 5 AND 13:11:32 = 30];
Caused by: com.j_spaces.core.client.sql.SQLQueryException: Failed to create template from SQLQuery : [id = 5 AND 13:11:32 = 30]
Caused by: com.j_spaces.jdbc.parser.grammar.ParseException: Encountered " <INTEGER_LITERAL> "13 "" at line 1,    column 12.
Was expecting one of:
"rownum" ...
<IDENTIFIER> ...
<ESC_IDENTIFIER> ...
"(" ...

Could you give me directions on that?
